Free Range Folk Choir had the pleasure of singing at the grand opening for the new Vashon Center for the Arts last month, and was pictured in the Seattle Times by award winning photographer

Esma Redzepova Vocal Workshop on Vashon Island

What: Vocal workshop led by Esma Redzepova, world-renowned Roma singer from Macedonia, hosted by Free Range Folk Choir. Esma Redzepova is internationally acclaimed as the “Queen of Romani (Gypsy) Songs” and is one of NPR’s “50 Greatest Voices.” This workshop will be limited
to 30 participants ~ early registration is required.
When: Wednesday, April 27. Warm up at 6:45pm. The workshop is from 7-8:30 pm.
Where: Vashon Island. Exact location will be given once registered.
Tuition: $50-$35 (sliding scale) with higher end to
support local community folk music opportunities offered by the Free
Range Folk Choir.
Free Range Folk Choir Concert with Kat Eggleston ~ Sat. April 2nd, 2016
Come join us for a Free Range Folk Choir Concert featuring guest artist Kat Eggleston on Saturday, April 2nd, 7pm at the Vashon High School Theater (9600 SW 204th St).
This concert will feature several of Kat Eggleston's most beloved songs in honor of her father, performed with full choral accompaniment by the Free Range Folk Choir. It will be an evening of storytelling and song, from intimate solos to rich choral harmonies of the world ~ folk music from the heart of our human experience. An audience sing-along will round out this evening of joyful music. Bring the whole family!
Suggested donation is $5-10. No one turned away for lack of funds ~ All are welcome.
