Vashon Community Choir invites you to 2 Upcoming Concerts
Free Range Folk Choir is excited to announce TWO upcoming concerts:
1. The FRFC will sing at the NW Folklife Festival on Sunday, May 24th at the Cornish Courtyard Stage from 1:30 to 2:20pm. Come enjoy an uplifting set of a cappella folk music from South Africa, Croatia, Macedonia, and the USA. (This performance may start as early as 1:20pm, so plan to arrive early!)
The Cornish Courtyard stage (map) is located outside the Cornish Playhouse (201 Mercer Street, Seattle, WA) on the north side of the Seattle Center grounds. You're encouraged to carpool, bicycle or take the bus to Folklife. (See Metro Trip Planner for details: the C line is a great direct connection between Vashon/Fauntleroy ferry and the Key Arena/Folklife Festival.)
2. Celebrate the start of summer at the FRFC Summer Concert, Sunday, June 7th, 7:00pm at the Burton Community Church. Profound music from the civil rights movement with a full band and jazz piano, as well as soul stirring songs from South Africa, Macedonia, Israel, and more, in one of the very best acoustic spaces on Vashon. This is a night you won't want to miss.
Admission for both concerts is free; your donations in support of these events are gratefully accepted. We hope to see you there!
